The role:

The Analyst will work within the Culinary Science team to build foundational knowledge of various cooking ingredients and apply that knowledge to drive Brava’s new cooking technology. You will also have the opportunity to work with a team of talented chefs to integrate your findings into new, artfully crafted recipes.

 

 

Things you’ll own/do:

  • Survey existing literature on the ingredient supply chain and food preparation, including: recipes, blogs, journals, and scientific studies

  • Prepare, portion and weigh foods

  • Cook foods using various conventional methods

  • Cook foods with Brava technology

  • Record observables during cooking, such as: temperature, time, smell, smoking, and spattering, and compile reports detailing your methods and observations

  • Analyze the taste and textures of cooked food

  • Educate the culinary staff with your findings

  • Assist culinary staff with food preparation

  • Train team members in new methods and techniques you develop
