The role:

This role is a cross section of externally facing marketing, PR and business development.  The individual will help build relationships and partnerships to enhance our offerings and develop and execute plans to help drive awareness of our brand, the reputation of the brand, sales of our products and consumer engagement with our products.

 

Things you’ll own/do:

The Marketing Development Manager will manage our activities within our market influencer programs, partnerships and events (both our own as well as all trade shows and conferences).  S/he will be the primary point for PR as well as marketing partnerships with major culinary organizations, media companies, fitness companies, etc.  This person will work closely with the Brava culinary, performance marketing, business development, retail and content teams to create engaging promotions, product placements and consumer outreach efforts.  The ultimate goal of these efforts is to drive brand awareness, NPS and sales.

 

Our ideal candidate:

We are looking for an experienced, creative, externally representing and driven individual to lead our marketing development efforts. This person will possess a deep understanding of our target consumer and the type of programming and messaging that resonates with them.  They must show an innate passion for the brand and product, bring that to life in compelling and creative ways, balance multiple competing priorities and have a relentless drive to action and marketing our products.

 

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated, proven record of driving non-traditional marketing programs to major success

  • 3+ years experience managing marketing programming and teams

  • Fluency in user engagement metrics and marketing KPI’s

  • Experience representing complex product offerings to third parties and audiences

  • Passion for the food space and technology

  • Excellent writing and communication skills (internal and external facing); blogging, journalism and/or editorial experience a plus

  • Travel estimated at ~50%
