The role:

An opportunity to lead and grow Brava's social channels. Our social media presence is critical to creating and fostering an engaged community of Brava users and communicating and enabling our mission of encouraging healthy food and habits. Social media goals will be primarily tied to use of our cooking device and sales of our services and products.

 

Things you’ll own/do:

The Social Media Lead will manage all tactical aspects of Brava’s social media presence, including crafting the Brava persona across major platforms and daily management / posting on social channels.  This person will create and execute the Social Media strategy, including creative content, cadence and placement of day-to-day postings; and will work closely with Performance Marketing, Product, Content and Design to tell compelling stories to our community of users. Flexibility and swift iterations will be key.

 

The Lead will manage and drive active engagement by creating, editing and publishing daily best-in-class original photo and video assets of our Brava meals and recipes, and by assisting in production of original Brava editorial content from short “weekly wrap-ups” to more in depth features.

 

Our ideal candidate:

We are looking for an experienced, creative and driven individual to lead our social media and community efforts on existing and emerging social channels. This person will possess a deep understanding of our target consumer and the type of content that resonates with them.  Achieving the pitch-perfect tone while always aligned with our brand mission is critical.

 

This person will have finger on the pulse of food trends, competition in both the IoT and food space and beyond. S/he will track and report insights on industry trends and relevant campaigns across various industries.

 

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated, proven record of growing a large social media following via organic media

  • 2+ years experience managing social media campaigns and online communities

  • Fluency in user engagement and other data metrics related to optimizing for business performance

  • Experience managing personal social media accounts showing successful conversion of creative posts into active followers

  • Passion for the food space and food photography

  • Excellent writing and communication skills (internal and external facing); blogging, journalism and / or editorial experience a plus
